Hello friends and followers,

I’ve been hella busy.  ‘Hella’ is the word I’ve been told to use in order to make me seem ghetto.  Ghetto is the word I’ve been told to use in order to look gangsta.  Gangsta is the word I’ve been told to you because it makes me look popping dopping mopping.  Did you understand a word of that?

No, neither did I.

Kirkland Gets A Haircut!

My hair is so incredibly thick, it looks like an alcoholic’s rug, something I’ve complained about many times in the past.  I use a cool little barber who allows you to choose a playlist and he supplies the soundtrack while he cuts your hair.  Isn’t that just amazing?  I decided to test his resolve and iTunes collection by asking for Betty Boo, David Bowie and…Annie of course.  He passed and it was the best experience I’ve ever had getting a hair cut, much better than that time at school when I skipped the queue and got my hair shaved off by the angry barber.

Things got decidedly strange when the barber had to leave halfway through the cut and get his wife to continue with my hair.  “Oooh,” she said as she rubbed her hands off her portly hips, “you’ve got lush hair!  Feed it with conditioner and it will shine!”  Then she screamed at how ‘prosperous’ my double crown was and how much hair she could get for wigs.  It was rather strange.  I liked my hair cut though.

Brother Ciccone Phones From Jail

I don’t talk to him but somehow a rumour reached him that I intended to seize his plasmascreen TV while he was away.  Well, I had to explain that just wasn’t the case. Then I hastily arranged to have his TV put back in his house.

Gigs

I’m going to see The Vaccines, Is Tropical, Metronomy and The Drums.  I pray every day for Nicola Roberts to tour.

Interviews

I’ve got some interviews on this week to promote my new show.  It’s small and really there to test new material.  Cross your fingers!  If I can sell even a few tickets via publicity on some sites then that is a good thing of course.

Yesterday

I came to the conclusion that Holler, by the Spice Girls, is actually really amazing.

The Day Before

I rewatched all my favourite Tenth Doctor/Donna Noble episodes of Doctor Who - I never tire of those characters.  I’ve also been immersing myself in the Hughes ouvre.  The Breakfast Club is much better than even I realised.  That cast should have been nominated for Oscars.  It should be put on as a play and toured.  I just love it.
